SamaraVan is a campervan build-tracking app operated by Samaravan LLC. Builders use it to document conversion projects, and their clients use it to follow the progress of their own build.

Builders: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and company details such as company name, logo, and brand colors. Clients: name and email address, added by their builder. Clients never create passwords — they sign in through a secure link sent to their email. Project content: build photos, project details, phase progress, update captions, and invoices that builders create.

We use your information only to provide the service: signing you in, showing build progress to the right people, sending sign-in links and build-related email notifications, and displaying the builder's branding. We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it to anyone.

Build content is shared only within its project: the builder's team and the client the project belongs to. We use trusted service providers to operate the app — hosting and database infrastructure, and an email delivery provider for sign-in links and notifications. These providers process data solely on our behalf.

If you're a builder, the app can access your camera or photo library only when you choose to add photos to a build update. Photos are uploaded to secure storage and shown only to people with access to that project.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (clients: the Account section on your overview; builders: Settings → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent and removes your account and associated personal data. You can also email us to request deletion.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as salted hashes and sign-in links expire after a short time. Access to project content is restricted to the builder's organization and the invited client.

SamaraVan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above.
